KEEPER GAVIN SIGNS ON
Former Harthill Royal goalkeeper Gavin Sorley has signed for Shire for the forthcoming season.
Gavin has been on trial with the club right through the pre-season build-up and played in the matches against Brechin City, Camelon Juniors, Harthill Royal and Cambusbarron Rovers.
"He's got a good presence about him," said Shire coach Jim McInally. "In the games I have seen Gavin has performed well and he will be a good addition to the squad."
Jim has also revealed he has spoken to Falkirk manager Eddie May about bringing Jamie Barclay on a season long loan.
"Eddie says he will be talking to his board about signing another keeper, so we will have to wait for Jamie, but he is a player well worth waiting for."
