TRAINING GROUND SEARCH
The club is hopeful of finalising a deal for a permanent training base for next season.
Shire will depart Firs Park for good on June 15th and a search for training facilities has been ongoing for some time.
Coach Jim McInally will inspect the leading contenders over the next few days.
Currently, the under-17 and under-19 teams train at Tulligarth Leisure Complex in Alloa and that remains the first choice for a lease.
However, other options do exist.
"It is vital that we have one single venue for first team training next season," said the coach.
"And it is also important that those facilities are good. We want the pitches to be right but it is about much more than that.
"I would like there to be somwhere we could go and meet up before and after training, like we did at Firs Park, because that's important for building team spirit and for people getting to know one another.
"Hopefully, all of this will be sorted out quite quickly."
